We painted this resin sculpture a little while ago – something our wife got us. She likes them painted; I (for the most part) do not. However, we have a big back yard . . . and a front one, too. We’re going to be applying for our Wildlife Habitat Certification before long (3 ponds, ‘wetland’, a creek, dry land – even drier . . . 300 foot long brush pile (established) … dozens of birdhouses; a couple feeders … logs and rocks and places for critters to hide) ….
But we painted this for her. It now sits underneath the butterfly bush in the front yard. As we were painting it we made up a little story to go with the painting . . . the book, and the fairy. Look at the book and fairy real hard . . . and see if you find the story we ‘wrote’ . . . a story in our head.
Enjoy.
or not.
