A Note on The Graphic for “Little House of Horrors”

Here is the graphic in question:

This is the big picture:

This Is Where We Kept Mikie for Many Long Years

We were in trouble – this was in the late 90’s.  Our ‘system’ was attacking – trying to ‘kill’ our inner child(ren).  His pain and shame has gotten too much to bear.  We were highly suicidal; our arms are laced with scars now from that period.

So M3 commanded us to ‘make a place’ for him, our inner child.  And so we did.  The ground is frozen rocks; bitter dry snow drifts around him; ahead is the sea of loneliness; beyond the mountains of ice.  The sky represents another galaxy for him – a long far way away from us in hopes we won’t feel his pain; draw the Beast’s attention; for he above all others wants Mikie dead.

And we almost did ‘kill’ him.  We have other images to show: the Trial by the Crowd, with only the beaten Controller trying to save him.  Demons lurk in the walls.  But that is for a later time.

Until now.  We are only comfortable showing him now.  A little bit.

(M3 thinking hurting soft and sad ‘this poor child of mine’)
