Our psychiatrist once said that in and for these moments when we are upset we should visualize something good.

So we are into visualizing something like this:

This is a ‘field’ of dandelions we left unmowed when we mowed the yard this last year.  (Our wife hates this – and laughs about it – it’s in the back yard.  Not there anymore because winter has come.)

“But dandelions are weeds,” you might say.

But to us they are not.

They are a brave adaptable weed, able to grow in a lot of places.  Grow them where you mow and they grow beneath the blade.  Give them an open field and they will reach for the sky.  They persevere.  They are many.

They are like us.

Unwanted some of the times – unwanted by ourselves some of the times – each one representing something, some facet of myself . . .

but lovely and beautiful in the wind (of life).

We love them.  They are beautiful.

I think I’ll leave it there.

Time for something good.

like dandelions in the wind

A weed is a plant growing where you wish it was not.
